Asset Reporting for App Campaigns in Google Ads

Google Ads is enhancing asset reporting by adding four new updates in order to provide advertisers with detailed insights about their app campaigns.

Here are the four updates:

  • Clearer guidance of performance ratings: With this update, advertisers can now see performance rating of assets: “low”, “good” and “best” asset ratings. A tooltip is displayed when advertisers hovering over the performance rating telling them how Google defines these ratings.
  • Keep tabs on assets: With this update, advertisers can now see two new columns, the asset source and orientation.
  • Track performance changes over time: With this update, the advertisers can view the performance changes for assets over time. Google will soon be rolling out this update for advertisers.
  • Preview assets before they go live: With this update, the advertisers can see how their creative assets will be displayed to users before they go live with their campaigns.
